Fire Cider Workshop (Local)
Come make Fire Cider with me in my kitchen! Fire Cider was coined by respected Herbalist, Rosemary Gladstar. It is a must-have oxymel for cold and flu season. An oxymel is an herbal preparation made of vinegar and raw honey. Fire Cider is anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal, and it's a great decongestant. Fire Cider also supports digestion and is anti-inflammatory.
At this class, we will be working with powerful herbs like garlic, onion, thyme, turmeric, ginger, etc! We will learn all about how to stay well during the Cold and Flu season, we will talk about how these herbs fight infection, stimulate our immune system, strengthen the body, and assist in recovery- while making our very own fire cider!
Class takes place at 2pm on Saturday, July 29th in my kitchen and there are only 8 spots! Class fee is $36 and includes the quart-size batch of Fire Cider you will make during the class plus yummy Fire Cider snacks.
(Raw honey not provided as that will be added when you are done infusing your herbal Apple Cider Vinegar and have strained it after 3-4 weeks.)
All ingredients and jars will be provided but since I don’t have an endless supply of kitchen supplies, please bring your own:
- 1/4 cup measuring cup
-knife (wrapped in a towel for safety)
-cutting board
-grater
Address provided at the time of class purchase.
So stoked to make nourishing medicine together!
Cancellation Policy:
There are no refunds if you decide to cancel or if you are not present for the workshop. When you pay for a spot in a workshop, you are paying for that seat. Canceling or not attending does not allow me to offer someone else the spot. In the case that you can’t make the class, (stuff comes up- I totally get it) your spot will be saved and can be moved to a future class. No shop credit will be given. If you need to cancel, please contact me via email immediately: kylie@valleytorimwellness.com. At that time, I can let you know what future classes are available and you can choose one. You are responsible for paying the difference if you choose a class with a different cost.
