Elderberry Syrup Kit
Immune-stimulating herbal remedy. Beneficial for the onset of colds and the flu.
Contains: Elderberries, Rosehips, Ginger Root, Orange Peel, Cloves, Cinnamon Stick. Makes about 2 cups.
Directions: Pour bag of herbs into stove pot with 3 cups filtered water. Simmer on medium heat until the liquid reduces by half. Strain, let cool, add 1/2 cup local raw honey. Pour into jar and keep refrigerated. Good for 4-6 weeks. Take 1 tsp. a day or 3x/day when feeling sick. Use maple syrup instead of honey if planning to give to children under the age of 1. Research all ingredients prior to use.
