Black Drawing Salve

$11.00

Drawing salve for bites, stings, and splinters!

2 oz. jar of Plantain Infused Avocado oil, beeswax, activated charcoal powder, and bentonite clay powder.

For topical use only. Apply to area using clean hands and cover with a band aid (it can stain clothes). Wipe off and reapply as needed. Use up within a year. Store in a cool, dry, dark place.

About the ingredients:

Avocado Oil: The beta carotene, protein, lecithin, fatty acids, and vitamins A, D, and E found in avocado oil help moisturize and protect your skin from damaging UV rays and also increase collagen metabolism. The linoleic acid, oleic acid, and other monosaturated fatty acids in avocado oil can speed up wound healing.

Plantain: is astringent, meaning it causes the contraction of skin cells and body tissues to reduce bleeding from minor abrasions. It also helps reduce inflammation and soothes the skin from irritation. This is why we love it for any bites!

Beeswax: softens and lubricates skin, prevents water loss, has antiseptic properties, which may help protect the skin from pathogenic microorganisms, provides a protective barrier to the skin, provides vitamin A, which helps skin regenerate sooner after damage.

Activated Charcoal Powder: May be able to help with itch, relieve pain, and swelling. Researchers have reported that activated charcoal can help draw microparticles, such as dirt, dust, chemicals, toxins, and bacteria, to the surface of the skin, which makes removing them easier. Activated charcoal may have an antibacterial effect by absorbing harmful microbes from wounds.

Bentonite Clay Powder: the clay pulls toxins to the skin's surface to keep them from spreading, while at the same time pulling out pus or stingers that may be embedded in the skin.
